About The Artist

Bec Denholm, also known by her artist name "Binx", is a multidisciplinary, mixed media artist who has been practising in the Riverina and Northern Rivers areas for over 13 years. From digital art and large scale mural work to traditional canvas painting and textile design, her work is eclectic and ever expanding. Influenced by graphics, textures and textiles of days gone by, her art uses retro colour palettes, patterns, nature, still life studies and portraiture as visual vehicles, transporting the viewer to a better time and suspending them briefly in a world of imagination and quirky beauty. Themes of soul, nostalgia and the freedom of the human spirit are at the very heart of her creative practice.
